This is a beautiful newly made Multi colored crib/baby/lap quilt that was made by me. I call it " Smart birds, poor kitty cat". This is my original design. I machine raw edge appliqued the tree limb, the birds, the cat, the birdhouse, and the flowers on this quilt. Notice that the yellow double binding has pretty little bears. This quilt was machine quilted.
The blue bird has embroidered wings.
The birds, the leaves, and the cat has shabby clipped edges that will produce beautiful fraying once this quilt this washed.
The cat and the birdhouse is done in a beautiful white on white tonal fabric.
The vine that trellises up the pole to the birdhouse was machine embroidered.
It can be machine washed in cool water. A gentle or medium cycle is preferable.
The writing says "pocket full of posies"
There are neat new colorful and vivid fabrics throughout this quilt.
Turn this quilt into a family heirloom. Use it throughout the year.
Made with 100% cotton and cotton/poly good quality fabrics.
*The batting is a HIGH LOFT very thick polyester for extra warmth.*
